From November 7-9, the All-Russian karate competition "Friendship Cup" was held in Tolyatti. This time, a record number of participants from 25 regions of the country were announced - 2,100 athletes! The event was organized in accordance with the goals of the state program "Sport of Russia".
Over the three days of the tournament, 60 sets of awards were awarded. The athletes of the Samara region showed a decent result — nine prizes, including two gold, four silver and three bronze medals. The audience was particularly interested in the team matches, which were attended by 140 teams.
The organizers of the Friendship Cup annually they cooperate with our AMAKS "Yubileynaya" hotel. And this year was no exception - more than 300 athletes stayed at the hotel for the duration of the competition. We are always glad to be a part of such a major sporting event in our region.
